Precision AI OS for IT services & MSPs
The service desk has AI. Your clients' businesses do not.
ConnectWise, Rewst and Pia cover an MSP's own tickets and user requests, and a person still reviews what they produce. Precision AI OS is for back-office work those tools do not target, such as a client review drawn from more than one system, or a delivery partnership on a client's business workflow while the MSP keeps the relationship. Technicians approve what is sent.
What matters to your team.
Kaseya's 2026 State of the MSP report, a survey of more than 1,000 MSPs, found that 48% rank AI and automation as the top client need while 13% generate meaningful revenue from those services. The same release says typical customer spend above $25,000 a year fell from 75% of MSPs to 41%, difficulty hiring technicians rose from 9% to 16%, and 19% have trouble showing value quickly. More than half have automated only about a quarter of their workload. AvePoint and Omdia's study of 333 MSPs found that 43% report high maturity in delivering AI-ready data environments, so more than half cannot deliver those services at scale.
When the software you have is enough.
Ask the tools you already run before you add another. ConnectWise Sidekick lists 70+ AI-assisted actions in its PSA and says your team must review all scripts before they run. Rewst's pricing page describes a per-client rate with no per-seat charge, and its privacy policy says customer data is not used to train models. Pia describes prebuilt automations for onboarding, offboarding and password resets, and it publishes both usage-based pricing and a fixed plan with unlimited usage. If the job is level-1 triage or identity requests, start there. Precision AI OS does not replace a PSA or RMM.

Where your team can gain time.
Illustrative workflows, scoped to your systems and review process during discovery.
Client business reviews
Assemble a draft review from the PSA, RMM and Microsoft 365 records the engagement is allowed to read. A technician checks the figures before anything goes to the client.
Documentation upkeep
Compare client documentation with recent tickets and the configuration sources you name, and flag what looks stale. An engineer approves any update.
Runbook retrieval
Find the approved procedure and the recent service history for one client, with the source named, for the engineer on the ticket.
Client project scoping
When a client asks for AI on its own business system, write a one-workflow scope: the system, what a login can read, who reviews, and what the MSP still owns. Terms are agreed for that engagement.
A practical place to start.
Pick one client and one back-office job, such as a quarterly review, not ticket triage or password resets. First check what ConnectWise, Rewst or Pia already does for that job. Then confirm which systems hold the figures and who on your team reviews the draft.
Track hours to assemble the review, documentation items flagged as stale, and corrections after a technician's review. Include that review time. Do not treat a time saving as given before you measure it.
Start with the systems you have.
Discovery starts with the PSA, RMM and Microsoft 365 tenant you already use, including permissions. Reading and writing are checked separately. For a client's own business system, we check what that client's login can export. Nothing is written into a client system unless a technician has reviewed it.
The services behind it.
A coordinated approach, shaped around the work your team needs to improve.
- AI strategyAI strategy consulting from Precision AI OS starts with a readiness assessment of where AI pays off in your firm. We map your work, systems and client data, then show where agents cut the most cost and time, and what your pipeline needs to make it happen.
- AI data pipelineAn AI data pipeline brings your firm's scattered knowledge together, cleans it and keeps it current, so your data is AI-ready for your agents. We build it around your business and your clients.
- Managed AIManaged AI services from Precision AI OS mean we run, monitor and improve your pipeline and agents so they keep delivering as your business, your clients and AI models change. Your team never has to become an AI team.
Keep the right people in control.
Scope each client as its own boundary before anything is connected, so a draft for one client does not draw on another's tickets or files. Say whether a connection acts as one identity for that client. Privileged changes stay under your existing approval process. A delivery partnership does not include a published referral program.
What the first 90 days could look like.
An illustrative sequence, adjusted after discovery. Timing depends on data access, scope and your team's availability.
Discover and define
Map one workflow, check the systems and permissions, and agree what a useful result looks like.
Build and test
Connect approved inputs and test drafts against representative examples with your reviewers.
Run and improve
Introduce the agreed workflow, monitor exceptions and compare results with the starting baseline before widening scope.
Questions firms ask
Is ConnectWise Sidekick worth it, and what does it cost?
Sidekick is for teams already on ConnectWise. Its PSA page lists 70+ AI-assisted actions for triaging and working tickets, and it says your team must review scripts before they run. ConnectWise does not publish a Sidekick price on that page; ask your account team. It works inside ConnectWise, not in a client's accounting or other business systems.
How do Rewst and Pia differ for service-desk automation?
Both target the MSP's own service desk. Rewst's pricing page describes a per-client rate with no per-seat charge, and Rewst says customer data is not used to train models. Pia describes prebuilt automations for onboarding, offboarding and password resets, and publishes usage-based and fixed unlimited plans without putting dollar rates in that announcement. Neither one is a client's line-of-business system. Plan for someone on your team to own exceptions.
Can AI close level 1 tickets without a technician?
Not on the pages we checked. ConnectWise says scripts require review before they run. Pia automates password resets, onboarding and similar requests, and it still runs inside your PSA for your team to oversee. Treat a draft or a routing suggestion as preparation, not a closed ticket.
How should an MSP think about AI revenue from clients?
Kaseya's 2026 report says 48% of MSPs rank AI and automation as the top client need and 13% generate meaningful revenue from those services. AvePoint and Omdia, surveying 333 MSPs, found 43% at high maturity delivering AI-ready environments. That is a packaging and governance gap. It is not a reason to drop the service-desk tools you already run, and Precision AI OS does not publish partner margins.
How do we stop client data from mixing across tenants?
Write the boundary down before you connect anything: one client, one set of permissions, and whether the connection acts as a single identity for that client. A draft for one client should not draw on another's tickets or documents. Ask ConnectWise, Rewst or Pia the same question for the tools you already run, because delegated admin often spans many clients.
Can an assistant update client documentation on its own?
It can prepare a list of pages that no longer match recent tickets or the configuration source you name. An engineer should approve the edit. ConnectWise, Rewst and Pia are aimed at the service desk. Keeping a client's documentation current across several systems is a separate job, and a person still decides what changes.
Should an MSP build client AI projects or bring in a partner?
If the work is ticket triage, password resets or user onboarding, use the PSA tool you already pay for. If the work sits in a client's business system and crosses products, a delivery partnership can be scoped while you keep the relationship. That agreement is per engagement. There is no published referral program.
